Melanie Johnson, born in Chapel Hill and raised in Raleigh is pretty much a life-long resident of Wake County except for college and grad school in Boone and three years spent in Chicago rekindling a deep love and appreciation for the South and her home town. She attended Appalachian State University and graduated TWICE, once with a B.S. in Political Science & Broadcasting in 1988 and again in 1994 with an M.B.A..
Now working as an underwriter and Training Coordinator at LM Title Agency, LLC, Melanie likes to say she has been involved in real estate law since birth - having been born during one of her dad, Larry Johnson's law school exams. Larry is a bit of Wake County Real Property royalty, having helped start WCRPLA back in the '80's and having served in multiple capacities but mainly as treasurer himself for well on over twenty years.
Melanie loves to cook, plan for when she can retire and travel the U.S. in an RV, watch TV and spend time with her family - especially her three nieces, Ryan, Emma and Mia who are the collective apple of her eye.
